-''Abstract'' : The colorization of old black and white photographs has the effect of reducing the distance between the past and the present and perceiving them as parties. There have been many colorized images of the past wars, but there are few examples that focus on the lives of ordinary people. The purpose of this study is to restore and colorize old photographs mainly in Fukuoka City where traditional local culture has been born, and to pass them on to the next generation as local cultural heritage.

***研究内容
　本研究は、福岡市博多区を中心に第2次世界大戦後の大衆の日常を写した白黒古写真をデジタル上で修復・着彩し、記録として残す研究である。
**はじめに
~
***他研究機関による白黒古写真カラー化の動向
　近年、早稲田大学や東京都立大学（旧：首都大学東京）等の機関がAI（人工知能）を使用しての白黒古写真カラー化に取り組んでいる。彼らが対象としている写真の多くは、1900年～1945年の戦前・戦中に関する歴史的事象として記録される著名な写真が多い。

***研究目的・問題解決に向けて
　我々の身近な地域の歴史・文化に焦点を当て、庶民生活の記録をカラー写真で残す。
　研究を推進することで庶民生活にフォーカスした白黒写真のカラー化の研究を行うことは、ローカルな習慣や祭事、市民の共同体といった地域独自の文化を知り、後世に記録を残すことのお手伝いになる。
